About the role
The Shift Supervisor supports the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in running efficient, well‑coordinated shifts. The role ensures that team member follow operational standards, customers receive excellent service, and all procedures are executed correctly during assigned shifts.

What you’ll do
Shift Leadership & team member Coordination The Shift Supervisor leads and coordinates the team during shifts, ensuring team member are positioned correctly, performing their duties, and maintaining service standards. They provide guidance, support, and on‑the‑spot coaching to keep the shift running smoothly.
Operational Execution The Shift Supervisor oversees all front‑ and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring opening, closing, and daily routines are completed accurately. They monitor service times, food quality, order accuracy, and general store flow to prevent delays or breakdowns.
Cash & POS Controls The Shift Supervisor ensures that cash‑handling procedures are followed, tills are balanced, and POS transactions are accurate. They oversee voids, corrections, safe drops, and assist with resolving discrepancies while upholding strict financial controls.
Customer Experience Management The Shift Supervisor ensures customers receive prompt, friendly service throughout the shift. They handle escalated customer concerns professionally, monitor service quality, and take corrective steps to maintain a positive customer experience.
Stock, Waste & Food Safety Oversight The Shift Supervisor assists in monitoring stock levels, portion control, and waste management. They ensure all food safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures are followed, helping maintain compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
Compliance & Brand Standards The Shift Supervisor enforces all operational policies, SOPs, and brand standards, ensuring team member meet uniform, grooming, and conduct requirements. They help maintain a safe, clean, and well‑run store environment at all times
